our visitor guidelines
At dbieb, the following vistor guidelines apply. Click the button below for the Dutch version.
At dbieb, we want you to feel welcome. After all, the library is open to everyone. We want to create a safe and pleasant atmosphere for all. So, we ask visitors to comply with our house rules and accept our terms and conditions. If you simply want to read books, newspapers or magazines: you can just walk in. The library is also a great place to find information and work. If you want to borrow items from the library, you will need a library card. To find out more, please ask our staff.
If you fail to comply with our house rules, our staff may deny you entry, ask you to leave, or have you removed from the building. In all other instances, if safety and a pleasant atmosphere are being undermined, our staff may take any measures they consider necessary at the time. Theft, vandalism and other serious offences are always reported to the police.
